How do we plan to do that?
In a host of ways! But how about we start with something small. Did you realise that Alumni T-shirts are not available in women friendly sizes and styles? Even in corporate events and celebrations, women are handed over Tees in men's sizes. Women are attending colleges and making their mark in the workforce since decades. And their numbers are increasing phenomenally every year. But getting a pleasurable Team Tee has been impossible!
Our colleges, universities and communities are so much more than just a label on our resume — they are a preparation, a shield, an exploration, a prelude, a dive board, a runway for take-off...It signifies a time that we can never forget, a place that we had worked hard to be at. Wearing an alumni Tee is such a simple, yet profoundly joyous way to connect with our tribe of friends and feel a sense of belonging.
Alas, the search for a Tee ends at the same ill fitted, “unisex” offerings in limited sizes. Or rudimentary designs that consist of name or logo or building picture pasted as it is. Or poor quality that one never wants to wear again after an event.
Well, our glowing personalities don't rely on fancy clothes. But on the days we want a Tee, it better be the style, size and color that we want!
When we couldn’t find merchandise that can keep up with us, we decided to do our own thing and make it available for our tribe!
This is just the beginning. There's a lot more we could be doing together - for one another and for ourselves - by leveraging our collective power! Sure, there's always the career advice or job postings or relationship ruminations or parenting tips.
But first let's make room for-

Our Tribe
Sonali, a BITS Pilani-IIMB alumna, started harboring the idea at her BITS batch reunion, when among other things, everyone was excited to wear an exclusively designed, well-fitted alumni T-shirt. But it was nearly impossible to find a cheerful and bright one in the sizes required. The more she looked around, the more she found vendors reluctant to do women sizes and styles. Getting the right alumni T-shirt, a symbol of pride and belonging, shouldn't have to be as hard as finding a spacesuit at ISS ;)! Thus was launched - Tribe Avive!
Tribe Avive has grown to become the partner of choice for reunion organizers, corporate teams and passion clubs. We started exclusively for women but soon found that men also valued the designer Tribe Tees and Polos to wear at team events. And they had just been quietly putting up with the run-of-the-mill stuff until Tribe Avive came along!
We create exclusive designs in premium quality, and cater to sizes that range from XS to 5XL, in cuts and styles that everyone loves. It has been a labor of love - with a team that comprises of fashion designers, premium manufacturers, happy customers and believers - who have showered love and support to the venture.
